This blog post is in response to Natalie’s 10 Day Freedom Plan Blog Challenge Day 9
Dreams come true when we are able to imagine them vividly with all our senses. Then you plant seeds in your mind and create a vibe in your energy field (that’s the kind of thing I am into as a spiritual lawyer) that attracts what you are dreaming about. The law of attraction works both ways though. It can attract what you worry about or it can attract your positive day dreaming. This is the reason why it is so important to learn to focus your mind on what you want as opposed to “reality” (which is only the reflection of your past way of thinking) or what you worry about. I have been called a Pollyanna many times before and I really don’t mind.
The fact of the matter is, a lot of what people considered crazy dreams have actually happened. I moved abroad. I married an Englishman. I wrote a book. I started home educating. I became an inspirational teacher. My starting point was: a well paid corporate lawyer job in Paris.
My next step is to live a location free lifestyle. This means most of my work would be done online. As an author, that is something that is very easy to envisage. I don’t like hotels thought. We love a family style of life with cooking, story telling, snugging up together in a sofa and watching a good film. So my location free lifestyle would have us hop from self catering cottages to more self catering cottages. We also like homes with a soul. So they would have to be full of character.
My typical day would look very much like today’s typical day except in a different location.
- Wake up at 6 a.m. to do some writing
- Wait until my tribe wakes up
- When I have a chance throughout the day, engage on social media to engage with my readers and connect with them on a soul level
- Visits to the local beach or museums with the kids
- Check in to one of my teaching platforms and holding a half hour live call
- Story reading time with the little ones and literacy fun
- Maybe some drumming
- Another half hour work session before dinner when the kids are playing on their iPads
- Lovely family dinner
- Game playing
- Half an hour of reading things pertaining to my work or watching content packed videos or programmes before going to bed
I love this typical day. I love entertaining the idea that we would have a base where we are, a house by the sea and a flat in Paris. Paris is my home town and there is so much to do with home educated kids. It’s culture galore. So our typical day would vary according to those three locations. In our home base, there would be interaction with our others kids. In our beach house, we would go swimming or surfing. In Paris, it would be museums free for all.
I already love my location free based life.
Is that something that would appeal to you?
