This blog post is in response to Natalie’s 10 Day Freedom Plan Blog Challenge Day 3
I wake up in the arms of my husband, looking out the window and watch the sea shimmer under the sun. It’s 6 a.m. and I am ready for my morning time alone before the house wakes up. The children are fast asleep and the house is quiet. I quietly slide out of bed without waking him up and make my way to the kitchen to boil the kettle and pour myself a cup of hot water. I sneak out of the house into the summer house overlooking the ocean and sip it quietly as I take the beauty of my surroundings in.
I roll out my yoga mat and do ten minutes of yoga as the sun gently charges my eyes and soul. My body feels relaxed as I sit at the table and spread my manuscript. I can hear the birds singing outside.
I do an hour of writing then stretch my back and yawn. The sun is now high in the sky and I finished my hot water. I can see a few dolphins in the bay. Today, my husband and the children will go do some scuba diving and swim with the dolphins. I really feel like joining so I will leave my business in the hands of my gorgeous PA. Life is good.
Before I go back in the house, I check my emails and see that I have already earned £1,000 worth of sales before the day even starts. My ebook is flying off to new territories, inspiring thousands of people and yet I have managed to keep my life private. I chose when to dip in and out of the public eye when needed but retreat into my own introvert world when I am done. Life is good. I have found balance. It is good not to feel I have to work hard to earn money to sustain our lifestyle. Everything is so easy and effortless.
I quietly walk back into the house and start preparing breakfast for my husband and the kids. I sit at the kitchen table and write in my gratitude diary with my coloured pens. There is so much to be grateful for. The prosperity. The freedom lifestyle. The home educating of our two beautiful children. The traveling. Knowing that my elder two children are happily settled into exciting lives and careers. The family trip we have scheduled for the end of the month where the little ones will see all their brothers and sisters for two weeks and get to play with their little nieces and nephews.
In a few days, we will be opening my first new school. A school where kids will be able to take the leadership of their own learning journey from as young as five. The school is free. Play will be central to all learning and fun is encouraged. The joy of learning will be fostered every step of the way. The curriculum comprises a mix of mindfulness techniques, creativity, wellbeing, cooking, making, crafting, alongside story telling, rhythms and music, crazy science, word crafting and number games. The kids will be so excited to get into school each day because it will be so much fun. They can come in at whichever time they want. There is no school time. Complete freedom. It is an exciting learning hub to be a part of.
I am slowly starting a revolution in education and I am loving it. The school has a wonderful head. She is a friend whom I have total confidence in. And the right people come into my life to make this beautiful dream come true so that the rainbow children from heaven can come and do on earth what they have come to do without the hindrance of adults.
This is my dream life. I am living my dream life. This is the reason why I left my corporate job. Why I pulled my kids out of school. So we could live life on our terms. So they could be kids longer. So they could reach their full potential without being scarred by a crazy educational model riddled with inconsistencies and outdated reasoning.
Some people might think it is luck but it took a lot of courage to step into the unknown and it has paid huge dividends.
This is the life that is in my vortex. The life that is already manifesting in my reality. I have taken a long time to work out the finest details and it feels so good.
